Compile all required documents including your degree certificate, experience certificates, passport photo, and proposer's details. Refer to the documents section below.
Submit your completed application along with supporting documents and the prescribed membership fee (Demand Draft or Online Transfer) to ACCE Headquarters or the respective local centre.
Your application will be reviewed by the Membership Committee. Upon successful verification, you will receive your ACCE Membership Certificate and Membership Number by post.

Any person holding a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised university, engaged in or associated with consulting civil engineering practice, is eligible to apply for membership. The specific eligibility criteria vary by membership category (Fellow, Member, Associate Member, Student, etc.).
Once your completed application with all documents and fees is received, the Membership Committee typically processes it within 4–8 weeks. You will be notified by email and post upon approval. For faster processing, ensure all documents are complete and accurate.
Yes. Members are encouraged to upgrade their membership category as they gain experience and qualifications. An upgrade application should be submitted with updated documents, and the differential fee (if any) must be paid. The process is similar to a fresh application for the higher grade.
Yes. ACCE offers a Student Membership for engineering students currently enrolled in a civil engineering degree programme. The membership fee is nominal, and students get access to technical sessions, publications, and networking events, giving them a head-start in their professional journey.

ACCE accepts payment via Demand Draft (in favour of ACCE, payable at Salem), NEFT/RTGS Bank Transfer, and UPI. Please mention your name and membership category in the payment reference. Attach the payment receipt with your application.
Yes. ACCE conducts various Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes including seminars, workshops, and webinars throughout the year. Attendance at these events earns CPD credits that support your professional development and licensing requirements.
Life Members enjoy all benefits of regular membership without any annual renewal fees. Life membership is a one-time payment in addition to the admission fee, and it ensures uninterrupted access to ACCE resources, events, and publications throughout your career.
